Billie McComas Bower ’56

My husband and I have been in quarantine like most old people and really are missing our family and friends! We do accept the danger of the Coronavirus which does keep us at home.  As a result, I have reconnected with my interest in genealogy and exploring (by phone) with a new cousin found through DNA. And I spend more time on the phone and computer, connecting with Bexley classmates Joan Dye Hein, Norma Wood Grimm and Barbara Ketzmier Durbin.

To date, I’m so thankful that my family of 28 (4 children, 7 grands, 5 greats and one on the way plus spouses) are virus free. I was an only child and so happy to have a big family! Bob and I will be married 63 years this year.  But this last Easter was the strangest ever. Here is a picture of my 6 month old great grandson Rowan and his parents … I  dubbed it “Love through a window”! Looking forward to freedom soon and viewing my newly placed Bexley brick!
