From The Columbus Dispatch –
Murphy Bromberg, a Bexley native, teamed with Brooke Schultz to win the 3-meter synchronized title at the national diving championships in Dallas.
Bromberg and Schultz posted a score of 287.40, beating out second-place finishers Alison Gibson and Krysta Palmer (262.20) in a tight competition.
“I think it’s really easy to get caught up in what everyone else is doing and getting caught up in the environment,” said Bromberg, who competes for the University of Texas. “We just had to focus on ourselves and our individual dives.”
