The BHS Class of 2020 may be “heads above” all others – that could be the interpretation of the 180 senior “head shot” photos that were displayed near the main entrance to Bexley High School on the first day of the 2019-2020 school year.
In addition to the creative display, seniors were greeted by several banners and donuts and fruit served by parents. Later in the morning, seniors flowed into the Schottenstein Theatre to hear from BHS Principal, Kristin Robbins, who welcomed them and explained that the high school faculty will work with each one of them as they define what they want their legacy to be. “178 days from today you will sit here for the last time as reflect on your time at Bexley High School. My hope for you is that you can say you made it exactly what you wanted it to be,” said Robbins.
Principal Robbins is joined in the High School Office this year by Mr. Craig McMillen, Assistant Principal. McMillen is returning to BHS, where he previously taught math, from an administrative role with the South-Western City Schools. The 2019-2020 BHS Faculty includes 56 teachers and two librarians. Fourteen aides, three guidance counselors and three secretaries round out the BHS Staff.
