The Bexley High School Athletic Hall of Fame was established in 1989 to honor outstanding individuals who have contributed to sports in Bexley and is dedicated to the memory of Rebecca Ann Millard Attwood. In recognizing former Bexley High School athletes and coaches (both male and female), the Athletic Hall of Fame seeks to strengthen relationships between alumni, the school and the community. The first Athletic Hall of Fame Class was inducted in 1990. The most recent class was inducted in 2016.
In order to be considered for induction into the Athletic Hall of Fame athletes must be out of high school for at least five years and coaches for at least three years. Athletes who participated in any sport and in any era are eligible to be nominated. There is both a nominating and selection committee for the Hall of Fame. Guidelines and procedures are available upon request. For more information, please contact the Bexley High School Athletic Department at (614) 237-4273 ext. 4176.
The Bexley High School Athletic Hall of Fame will induct a new class of deserving alumni athletes this Fall. Nominations are due by July 31 for consideration this year. Recipients will be recognized during Bexley’s Homecoming Weekend — at Friday evening’s Bexley vs. Columbus Academy Football game, November 1st, and at a celebratory brunch on November 2nd.Nominate an Alumnus
