Athletic Hall of Fame

The Bexley High School Athletic Hall of Fame was established in 1989 to honor outstanding individuals who have contributed to sports in Bexley and is dedicated to the memory of Rebecca Ann Millard Attwood. In recognizing former Bexley High School athletes and coaches (both male and female), the Athletic Hall of Fame seeks to strengthen relationships between alumni, the school and the community. The first Athletic Hall of Fame Class was inducted in 1990. The most recent class was inducted in 2022.

In order to be considered for induction into the Athletic Hall of Fame athletes must be out of high school for at least five years and coaches for at least three years.  Athletes who participated in any sport and in any era are eligible to be nominated. Nominations are accepted for consideration all year long. Please include as much detail as possible for consideration. Anyone may nominate a former athlete or coach for consideration, although self nomination is discouraged.  A selection committee of former athletes, coaches and previous inductees will be formed to review nominations for the Hall of Fame. Guidelines and procedures are available upon request. For more information, please contact the Bexley High School Athletic Department at (614) 237-4273 ext. 4176.   To read about the most recent class of award winners, click here. 2022 Nominations are now closed. New nominations will be considered for the 2025 class.
