Announcing the Millard Family Athletic Hall of Fame Fund

The Millard Family Athletic Hall of Fame Fund has been established thanks to a major gift from Gene & Sally Millard and those who made gifts over the years to support the Bexley High School Athletic Hall of Fame. The Millards established the Athletic Hall of Fame in 1989 and dedicated it to the memory of their daughter Rebecca Ann Millard as a way to honor outstanding individuals who have contributed to sports at Bexley.
From the first induction event held in 1990, the Athletic Hall of Fame has celebrated the special place that athletes have in our school community and has become a valued tradition for alumni athletes. “It means so much to alumni to gather together with former teammates and other Bexley athletes to honor our most accomplished competitors,” said Jen Bunker ‘91, who was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2005 and has served as a member of the planning committee. Once endowed, the new fund will ensure that this alumni athletic tradition continues in perpetuity. Gifts of all sizes are welcome to raise the additional amount needed to bring the fund to $35,000 (the minimum amount for a program endowment).
