Alumni Scholarship Support for Seniors

Thanks to gifts made by alumni to the Bexley High School Alumni Endowment Fund, the amount of the Carlton Smith Memorial and William E.L. Young scholarships awarded annually to three deserving Seniors has increased from $1,000 to $1,500 each. 

Additional scholarships to be awarded to Seniors from endowments established by alumni with the Bexley Education Foundation include:

Two, $1,000 Charles Hoel Science Prizes from the Charles Hoel Memorial Endowment established by Robert E. Stevenson, ‘44.

A $1,250 scholarship awarded recognizing excellence in English and English literature from the Sandra Montgomery (Class of 1955) Memorial Endowment established by Beverly Pimsleur, ‘55. 

A $1,000 “Top Ten” Scholarship from the Barbara Rall Schwebel and Joseph Schwebel Top Ten Endowment established by Barbara Schwebel, ‘61.
